Geo Dot Map — South American Cities

Inline data-json (no SPARQL endpoint needed). Latitude/longitude channels projected with d3.geoNaturalEarth1 over a GeoJSON world basemap. Color channel encodes country. Points follow WGS84 (geo:lat / geo:long).

1. South American cities — colored by country

~18 cities across Peru, Argentina, Chile, Brazil, Bolivia, Colombia, Ecuador, Uruguay. Peru cities include Lima, Cusco, Arequipa, Trujillo, Piura, Iquitos, Huancayo.

2. Peru cities only — colored by region type

Coast, highlands (sierra), and jungle (selva) regions. Same projection, zoomed toward the Andean corridor.

Country outlines come from the public johan/world.geo.json file on GitHub and load when the map opens. City coordinates are approximate city centres.
