Dashboard design patterns on a Solid pod

Two dashboards over real public data in a Solid pod, and a gallery with one specimen per pattern. All of them are plain HTML pages made of Semantic Linked Components: each view is a SPARQL query that runs in the browser over the pod's RDF files. The patterns are those of Bach et al., Dashboard Design Patterns.

Health overview

Resting heart rate, distance, exercise and sleep from the pod's vitals/, activity/ and sleep/ containers.

Stratified layout, key figures with signature charts, gauge, pictograms, tabs, annotations, detail on demand, a parameterized query, personalization, source and update notes.

Experiment results

35 optimisation experiments, each a nanopublication in experiments/link-traversal-runtime/.

Derived values, trend arrows, filter and focus, parallel pages per series, a page per verdict, text lists, table layouts, an emotive palette.

Pattern gallery

All 43 patterns, one small live specimen each, with synthetic data.

Grouped by data, meta information, visual representation, interaction, screen space, structure, layout and colour.
